The Incarcerated Community: DOJ Announces Close of Private Prisons

What does the Durham, N.C. community think about the close of private prisons across the nation? Statistics from the U.S. Department of Justice show that, as of 2013, eight percent of the overall U.S. prison population are housed in private facilities.
